The dredged channel to Satun is long and there is no good place to anchor or tie up a yacht in Satun. In addition, we had winds of 30+ knots from the northeast which made it impossible for us to navigate the channel. We anchored off Tanyong Po in the lee of the land and got our guests from the ferry dock by taxi. Dinghy trips to "Arctracer" were a bit tricky because of rocks but we eventually got everybody safely aboard. (photo by Claire)
